The first exhibition of the popular Instagram account @dailypurrr will be revealed

On Friday, February 8, a popular social network “Instagram” account @dailypurrr will be opened at Lūznavas Manor, where a simple but witty drawing cat is published every day, a work exhibition. An account whose author is a hostess has exceeded 100,000 followers from around the world in mid-January.
The author of the Instagram account @dailypurrr is rēzeknietis Ainars Olūtnieks. The account has exceeded 100,000 followers in mid-January (now more than 110 000) from various countries of the world. The key to the success of the account is a simple but witty-drawn cat, whose photograph Ainar has found on the Internet or sent to him by followers. Ainars, who is working in the field of design on a day-to-day basis, has started the project almost accidentally – he has long wanted to draw something that is as simple as the experience gained in the art school. I had tried hundreds of ideas, and at one point i knew that i had to begin drawing very primitive cats. I did it for a long time until i saw me on the Internet. At that time i had made some 90 cats, “the author of the account is told.” Ainar's activities have also been seen throughout the world by popular joke leaves, such as “9GAG.com”, which has more than 40 million followers. The first @dailypurrr cat in the social network “Instagram” was published on July 26, 2017, but now another idea is that the drawings can be viewed not only digitally on the Internet but also in the exhibition. The exhibition was inspired BY THE Lūznavas manor team, wanting to be with Ainar both for the success of @dailypurrr and proud of the creative leaders.
By reaching 100,000 followers, Ainar was delighted: it was hard to comprehend the idea and the huge number of people who became a small daily ritual. From Tokyo to Los Angeles. People wait every day for another awkward drawing with cats. No ads, no short and fast roads, no money-laying, only persistence, daily drawings and luck. “Well, you have a personal hostess, who came to win 100 000 people's hearts and minds!”
The exhibition from February 8 to March 8 will look at 20 of the currently more than 440 digital drawings that have a new work on the Internet every day. A sample of the works to be viewed in the scrap is created by the @dailypurrr author himself. At the opening of the exhibition on 8 February at 17.00 Ainars will also be able to meet at the site. @dailypurrr exhibition Lūznavas in Manor will be seen every day (except Monday, then Manor closed) from 9.00 to 16.00.
