The history of the Tiskādu secondary school starts in 1868. According to Napoleon Rudko and Peter Tretuska's book “Insight of Latgale School History” (issued 1990). The school's name was the School of Orthodox Orthodox. The school was maintained by parish. 45 boys were in school and one teacher worked.
In 1920 the school was named as the Rwanda Graduate School. The school taught arithmetic, handsome. A special place in the preparation of pupils was the study of faith. The pupils visited the church, the students in four ranks were accompanied by teacher Boris Mikhail's son Nazaruks. The school was teaching students of different beliefs - Catholics, Orthodox, Old Believers.
Since 1928 the learning process took place in various buildings in Rwanda's village. The Rružin primary school was built in 1936 at Ruijing Center.
1936-1944. The school took place until 1944, but during the war, on 27 June 1944, it was burned and the village workshop was built on its foundations. The pupils went to school for six and seven years. There were little teachers, one teacher at primary school taught four classes.
1945 the school's name was a Tiskādu Russian part-school. Since 1953, the school received secondary school status. The training took place in various school buildings. From 1964 until 1975, the school building was behind Tiskad Lake.
The existing high school building was built in 1974 and was put into service on 10 September 1975. The construction of the building cost 430 000 rubles. The school was built by Rezekne PMK-3 (Chief J. Prikulis, chief engineer – J. Rotoklis). Aleksandrs Vatulin, Director of Three High School, brushed the first brick. As a result of the construction work, the basics of the school was put into a capsule with a message for future generations. The capsule is kept there now.
In 1975, a school and sports hall building was built, a sports area.
In the first year, in the new school building, pupils and teachers invested a lot of work, making up the area, setting flowers and planting flowers, trees, apple trees. Much effort was devoted to accommodating rooms, cleaning windows and floors, maintaining a greenhouse, creating a sports hall and setting up a stadium. The school staff, teachers and pupils worked with enormous enthusiasm.
In the years 2012-2014 there was a reconstruction of the Tiskādu Secondary School Building project “Reconstruction of the Tiskādu Secondary School, which corresponds to the requirements of the low energy building building”. Insulation of the foundations of the school building, the construction and insulation of the first floor floor, the creation of drainage, the incorporation of windows and doors into the insulation area, the insulation of the facade, the insulation of roof structures; the prevention of cold bridges over the entrance, the installation of ventilation with regeneration. The modernisation of study offices is carried out every year and the technical base of study offices is supplemented.
During the period from 1956/1957 to 2017/2018, 860 graduates graduated from the High School. The highest number of graduates was in the 1978/1979 school year – 38 pupils. The lowest number of graduates was in the 1994/1995 school year – 4 graduates. The release was not in the years 1961/1962, 1965/1966, 1992/1993, 2003/2004, 2006/2007.

As of September 1, 2009, the Central School of Cruise was added to the High School. As of 1 September 2018, the unit's primary school is reorganised as a cruise primary school. The school maintains, develops old and introduces new traditions.
