Members of the Tiskādu School participate IN ERASMUS + project activities in Romania

From 7 October to 13 October, the European Union Erasmus + Programme Operational No. 2 (KA2) School Exchange Partnership Project No 2018-1RO01-KA229-049091_2 "ZWISCHEN DEN KULTUREN took place at the meeting of third cooperation partners in Romania. All project partner countries – Turkey, Latvia and Romania – took part in the meeting. Four children of the High School, Irina Krasutina, Yelena Krasutina, Arina Boldova, Nadežda Verjovkina, and two teachers, Olga Missevich and Yelena Bažanova, took part in the high school trip to Romania.
In the course of the project, students and teachers participated in various types of activities aimed at improving the knowledge of the German language, information technology (IT) skills and learning new computer programs, acquiring new knowledge of the culture and traditions of partner countries and German-speaking countries, sharing experience, promoting the social competence of students. It was not only at school, but also in the older Romanian university library, Göte Center, German reader, British consulate. All week members of the project worked very actively. Students and teachers encouraged reading skills in German and made audio recordings, worked with computer programs, learned to create electronic polls, audio recordings, process photos, work with minibooks.ch. Working with youth literature, pupils worked in pairs and formed dialogues or wrote letters about the topic “my favorite city”, talked about catering traditions and labels in different countries, worked with literature texts. Teachers from Latvia and Turkey met with Romanian pupils and teachers and responded to interview questions, watching lessons in English, mathematics and sport. Sports activities in volleyball were organised for pupils. All participants in the project visited the Mocarta opera “Figaro wedding” at the National Opera Theatre and the city's Iasi botanical garden.
On 12 and 13 October, training trips were held on “Romanian writers” and “Romanian famous personalities”. During the training trips, the participants of the project visited the city library of Bicaz, the lake lake Rosa Karpathu hills, the ancient archaeological site of civilization Cucuteni, museums and castles. On the last day, an evaluation of the project's weekly activities took place, preparation for the 4 th meeting in April 2020 in Turkey.
Participating in the project gave students the opportunity to develop their communication skills in German and English, the skills of the use of information technology, more information on Romanian culture and traditions, and to meet (find) new friends.
