The project “namely and do!”
As of 2016, a project “NAMELY and DARI!” is being implemented in the municipality of Rezekne, No. 8.3.3.0/15/I/001, where more than 120 young people have been involved. The municipality of Rezekne speaks TO NEET * young people and recommends that they participate in the project “NAMELY and DO!” because, within the framework of the individual action programme, young people will have the opportunity to develop new skills by promoting the participation of young people in education, including vocational training, youth guarantee measures implemented BY THE SEA and the National Education Development Agency, as well as the activities of non-governmental organisations or youth centres.
The youth of the target group July (23 years), who took part in the project, says that the project “namely and do!” learns from the acquaintance who participated in this project and visited various courses for the occupation of the profession. July visited photographer courses at the East Latgalia Photo School “LeonPhoto”, directed by professional photographer Leonid Važnais and participated in various activities: “since my participation in the project lasts only two months, so far i have been actively attending the photo school classes, along with the mentor, we were on a meeting with the photographer Ieva Selt, and took part in the seminar“ Picture for your product ”OF the municipality of Rezekne IN Lūznavas Manor. I also visited THE advice of IUK's business specialists, where i obtained information on how to start his business.
By participating in the project, i have gained knowledge in a field of interest to me - in a photograph, with which i want to work in the future. By attending consultations and events, i gained new experience and knowledge. I've created a RESUME and a letter of application that will be useful for me when looking for a job. Currently, along with mentor, we are working on creating an account on Facebook, where with time i can offer photographer services. "
Mara (25 years) about the project “namely and do!” read the newspaper “Rēzekne Ambassador”. She visited the sewing courses at Riga, ArtLab, cultural, artistic and educational centre and participated in various activities: “I participated IN THE daily activities OF THE Ozolaines parish youth club OZO. Viļānos visited the self-employed doll exhibition, recognized the doll-making process at the masters and worked practically. It was possible to visit both sewing salons and sewing-self-employed persons.
During the project, i expanded my vision. I know myself and understand which areas i want to develop and develop as well as create my career. It should be noted that no less important benefits are new, pleasant acquaintance.
I am currently working in the clothing store in Riga on the oldest salesperson, as well as in parallel with the skill of the stylish. "
We call on young people who would like to promote positive changes in their lives, turn to the municipality of Rezekne to learn about the opportunity to participate in the project “NAMELY and DO!” and to send this message to the other young people who can be invited to participate in the project.
