Approaching the end of the social point project at Castle Street 6 Luznava

The task of each municipality is to promote the opportunities of self-care and independent living of the population and the ability to socially function and integrate into society. Two years ago, Lūznavas parish administration began to realize the project “Social Services Point” in Luznava, which is intended to provide facilities for the provision of services FOR the poor of Lūznavas parish, lonely pensioners, families with children, a total of more than 200 people, as well as low-income residents and unemployed persons in improving personal hygiene and sanitary hygiene conditions.
Lūznavas parish sauna is not already since 2000, there was no laundry. Within the framework of the project, a shower room with a WC is established, where access to the accompanying staff will also be available to people with reduced mobility; washing room and activities (including waiting) space for the organisation of various other social activities. The project focuses on supporting socially vulnerable (low-income, poor) people by reducing the unavailability of service in their place of residence. Lūznavas parish residents will be given the opportunity to receive services closer to their place of residence. Social services planned in the project will improve the sanitary hygiene and health conditions of the parish poor. The social service will have the opportunity to have a positive impact on the quality of life of customers (meeting basic needs). The project will make a significant contribution to society as it aims to raise the social welfare of vulnerable people.
