A water-holding development project will provide water-compliant drinking water FOR Nagļu village 75%. By reconstruction of water supply networks, water losses by 4.51 TP1T will be reduced, infiltration will decrease by 8.61 TP1T per year. THE performance efficiency and energy efficiency will be improved, electricity consumption from 1.25 kW/m3 to 1.12 kWh/m3 per year will be reduced. The implementation of a water-holding reconstruction project involves direct benefits (effects) which give immediate local benefit from the project's disposal and indirect effects that affect the area as a whole over a long period of time. When implementing a water management development project, direct benefits are:

3) reduced risk of sewerage system accidents and waste water leakage in the largest Luban Lake system of Latvia;
4) reduced risk for pollution of groundwater and surface water which could be caused by inadequately insulated installations;
