Non-formal training “new Luban guards” concluded in the water centre “lighthouse”

From 14 to 17 June, an informal training “new Luban guards”, organised by the association “Lubana Vilnis”, was held at the watercourse centre (ŪTC), attracting the funding of the municipality of Rēzekne municipality. The basic aim of training was to develop children's physical endowments, to introduce the work of firefighters, rescuers and national guardsmen, to inform about security procedures in different situations, and in particular to emphasise the importance and the concept of team work.
20 children from Rezekne municipality took part in the training.
Each day, the program determined the physical load, the free time, the educational activities, the strengthening of the team spirit and the development of individual skills.
After physical tests, the children were given the free time spent playing volleyball, tennis and swimming.
In the early evening of training, a talent concert was organised, where children sang, danced bread and played a musical instrument, showing their strong talents. At the end, a night of the night was organized, in which the teams demonstrated their cohesion, looking for hidden directions and solving the enquiries.
On the last day of the training, the participants composed the training diaries in which they discovered their feelings, talked about the process of making their commands and compiled the results of this experience.
In four days, new friends were gathered, security issues, and physical preparedness developed. The training staff acknowledged that these were fantastic for four days, because it was very difficult to divorce.
The association “Lubana Vilnis” thanks much to the support of the municipality of Rēzekne, Gaigalavas parish administration, educators - Inai Guanne, Aigai Berzins, Māris Valainis, Gatim Gutan and Biruta Colnea on the supervision and training of children, the rescue team of the Rēzekne Division and representatives of the 32 nd Introducer Battalion of Rezekne.
