In the middle of the holiday week, Sakstagala Jānis Kco's primary school students went to Riga museums under the “school bag” project. As the first visit to the Motormuseum, where more than 100 unique forces were surveyed, special attention was paid to ancient forces. The history of the trucks, interactive lesson - insight into the history of one trip, and the delight was caused by the fact that these vehicles had not only rolled along Latvian roads, but were also produced here - in Latvia. This became a reason for the idea of several pupils - businessmen: to rebuild the mechanical engineering sector in Latvia.
In turn, to examine his knowledge and become a natural researcher in the Latvian Nature Museum. Human evolution; all parts of the world's animals and birds; insects, plants, mineral collections; reproduction of the real environment; travel in land history; earthquake enjoyment; volcanic actuation; research of heaven; diverse exhibitions; modern and interactive exhibitions, awareness games and stories; this is the great offer of the museum. The pupils chose the “dinosaur parks” of the creative workshop, where they first listened to a guide in the exhibition hall, then went to a room designed to strengthen and study the knowledge of pupils (comparing their foot with the dinosaur foot, the steps measured with footsteps, looking for additional information in the texts offered, the video demonstration). After taking lessons, each pupil had the opportunity to walk through the exhibition hall, recognize certain things, and find new discovery.
The Museum of Riga History and Navigation is a museum in Riga, which exhibits exhibitions on the history of Riga from the beginning of the city in 1201 and finally with the first half of the 20 th century. The Riga History and Navigation Museum is the oldest public museum in Latvia and Baltics, as well as one of the oldest in Europe, so when travelling to Riga, we have visited this important site of Latvian cultural history. It is pleasant that the gyd narration could be supplemented by the pupils themselves with the lessons learned in the lessons, but the historical exhibits - the witnesses of their age - created an animated interest in the ancient and not so ancient Riga past.
The students had a great deal of satisfaction with the opportunity to visit museums in Riga and expand their vision in the context of Latvian culture.
