Six applicants have been nominated on a vacant Audriņu parish administration in the meeting of the general meeting.

On Tuesday, August 12, 18:00 Audriņu, the cultural house was crowded. Almost every citizen of the general meeting wanted to express his thoughts, which he would like or would not like to see as the next head of the parish administration of Audriņu. Six candidates were nominated in the meeting: Audriņu parish social worker Aleksandrs Bindemanis, Audriņu pre-school educational institution teacher Janina Chakša, President of East Latgale State Forest Service Janis Kuzvs, Audriņu residents Pavel Savickis and Inese Ivanova, as well as Skstagaliete Anita Matisāne. Tatjana Pavlova was also raised in Audriņu, but she refused to participate in the competition.

Work interviews with candidates will be held on 28 August in the municipality of Rezekne. During the work interviews, a written test will examine the knowledge of applicants in several areas related to the work of the parish administration, including the regulatory enactments regulating the work of the local government, the organisation of procurement and the prevention of conflicts of interest, the implementation of projects, as well as the general knowledge of THE parish of Audriņu and the Rēzekne municipality. Similarly, on the day of the tender, applicants will have to submit a possible development plan of THE parish area OF Audriņu and a rural administration operational programme.

In order to be fully objective, applicants will have to complete the tests and submit the development programme anonymously. In order for residents to be sure that the competition is going to be held honestly, ON 28 August, Tamāra Smirnov and Nathalie Bibičeva will also participate as observers in the selection process of the manager.

On the same day, the Commission will assess the results of the test and development programme and, at 13.00, no more than three best result owners will be invited to round 2 where negotiations are envisaged with tenderers. After discussing the Rēzekne municipality, the members of the council will decide who will further manage THE parish OF Audriņu. In early September, another meeting will be convened in the parish, where the people will be introduced to the new manager.

It is recalled that a new Audriņu parish head of administration is being searched because the former manager Vladimir Tihomirov has decided to retire after 20 years of work IN THE parish administration.
