Four applicants have been nominated for vacant Griškānu parish head office

On 24 November, a number of tens of parish people gathered in THE Griškānu parish cultural house to express their thoughts on what they would like to see as head of the next Griškānu parish administration. For several years, with the change of the head of a parish administration, the nominations of the next managers have been taken from the middle of the population, because the responsibility of the manager is double – not only against the management of the municipality, but also against the parish residents – the direct employer who has entrusted the management and development of the parish.

Five candidates were nominated in the meeting: Vičeslavs Dubovskis, Janis Alexanis, Ivars Arbidan and Yelena Ivanova. He was also nominated by Janis Oak, but he also withdrew his own candidacy after a short time.

During the meeting, the applicants were invited to present themselves and summarise their vision of the development of THE parish OF Griškānu. All candidates almost unanimously acknowledged that the main precondition for growth was the work - the preservation of existing jobs and the creation of new jobs in civil parish.

Viacheslavs Dubovskis has grown and lived IN Griškānu parish in Sprudzev, so he emphasized that he is very well understood and can be deepened into local problems. Janis Alexandro lives for five years and currently works at the nearby Čornajas parish in the People's House. John believes that the best work will be done if there is good cooperation between the parish authorities and the population. Ivars Arbidan works for five years in Griškānu parish administration as a driver and fire safety specialist. One of his biggest advantages is that he has been replaced for several years by the former head of parish administration, so he is well aware of the specificities of the management work. Yelena Ivanova was born and raised IN Griškānu parish. She acknowledged the importance of skills and knowledge, but also the importance of love and respect for the place of birth.

  The currently nominated applicants have been given about a week to prepare the necessary documents for participation in the competition, including a description of the life of the life or a COPY of the DOCUMENTS certifying the knowledge of the official language, as well AS THE concept of the development of THE parish administration OF Griškānu.

The competition to THE office of THE Griškānu parish administration will take place in two stages. In early December, applicants will be invited to the municipality of Rezekne, where their knowledge of regulatory enactments regulating the work of the local government and parish administration, the organisation of procurement, the prevention of conflicts of interest, the implementation of projects, as well as the general knowledge of THE parish of Griškānu and the Rēzekne municipality will be examined in the form of a written test.

In order to be fully objective, applicants will have to complete the tests and submit the development programme anonymously. In order for residents to be sure that the competition is going to be honest, THE representatives of the consultative Council of Griškānu parish residents will also be invited to participate as observers in the selection process of the manager.

After the Commission evaluates the results of the test and the development programmes, the winners of the best results will be invited to the second round of the competition - work interview. After negotiations, the most convincing applicants will be moved to the meeting of the Rēzekne District Council, so that the Members will decide who will further manage THE parish OF Griškānu. Immediately thereafter, another meeting will be convened IN THE parish OF Griškānu, where the people will be introduced to the new manager.

It is recalled that a new Griškānu parish administration manager is being searched because former manager Irene Gžibovska has decided to go to a recreation after 19 years OF work IN THE parish administration.
