Improve access to social care services

In the event of the participation in the competition declared by the “Rēzekne District Communities Partnership”, within the framework of the rural development programme “the diversification of the rural economy and the promotion of quality of life in the area of implementation of local development strategies”, the limited liability company “Razna” was implemented by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) project No 14-01-LL23-l413101-000004 “Development of the technical base of THE rehabilitation centre“ Razna ”of SIA, contributing to the availability, quality and efficiency of social care services”.
The total cost of the project (excluding VAT) and the amount of eligible costs are EUR 3 615.67 (three thousand six hundred and fifteen euros and 67 cents), including:
- public eligible costs — EAFRD financing — 60% of the amount of eligible costs amounting to EUR 2 169.40 (two thousand one hundred sixty-nine euros and 40 cents);
- Private eligible costs of 40% of the amount of eligible costs, representing eur 1 446.27 (one thousand four hundred and forty-six euros and 27 cents).
The rehabilitation centre “Razna” offers not only health care services but also long-term social care and social rehabilitation services, so the project was acquired by means of assistive products - wheelchair (3 pcs), relocation boards (2 pcs), roller (3 pcs), toilet/shower chair with pot (1 pcs), shower/toilet wheelchair (1 pcs), toilet/shower chair (3 pcs), toilets/shower chair (3 pcs), toilet protectors (1 pcs), and stainless steel trolley (1 pcs), realizing the project's objective of promoting inequality, reducing social exclusion and the unavailability of social care services for the local population - for elderly, inactive and other groups of social exclusion.
The implemented project provides an opportunity for the beneficiaries of long-term social care and social rehabilitation services to be easier to assimilate and integrate into society, independently moving and performing hygiene measures.
