Entrepreneurs are invited to create jobs for pupils during summer holidays

Employers are also invited this year to apply for an employment event at summer holidays for persons who receive education in general, special or vocational educational institutions.
The objective of the measure is to promote the temporary employment of pupils (15-20 years of age (including)) during summer holidays at national co-financed workplaces, providing students with the opportunity to acquire work skills, skills and experience. The student shall receive remuneration for the work performed at least in the amount of the minimum wage determined in the State for full working time per month.
Employers may apply for the implementation of the measure by 3 April 2020, filling out the necessary documents (Annex). The completed questionnaires may be submitted to a local NVA branch (in a document mailbox) or by electronic Ingrida.Ancupane@nva.gov.lv to a secure electronic signature.
