Businessmen of Rezekne will also participate in the business days in Latgale
Latvia's largest business association Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) in cooperation with Latgale planning region on 23 and 24 September in Latgale embassy “GORS” organizes “business days in Latgale 2016”.
Visitors will be able to acquaint themselves with the offer of Latgale municipality municipalities, the products, services, tourism information, as well as the latest offer of Latgale region and all Latvian entrepreneurs. The concert hall will have the opportunity to enjoy the delicious delicacy of Latgale in the household and amateur fair, as well as to look at the techniques of the National Armed Forces.
“Baltic Flags”, the producers of “Baltic Flags”, the producers of decorative wall panels “BaltHarmonia”, the fashion designer Welga Krukovsky, the Rēzekne municipality and other amateurs.
Similarly to previous “business days in Latgale”, this year, entrepreneurs will be able to supplement their knowledge in the business opportunities forum during the event.
In cooperation with THE SEB Bank, global global events will be assessed and how they affect Latvian business (Brexit, US presidential elections, war zones, etc.).
There will also be an active discussion on regional developments regarding the establishment of Latgale Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and labour availability. The Minister for Environmental Protection and Regional Development Kaspars Gerhards, who is planning the regional visit of Latgale and a visit to local businesses, has been approved by the Minister for Environmental Protection and Regional Development in the opening of the event. The creation of a special economic zone is an essential precondition for the development of Latgale region not only on paper but also in reality. Therefore, we expect that a favourable business environment will create new jobs, paid taxes and the development of Latgale region, ”Latvian Minister Gerhards described the law of Latgale Special Economic Zone approved by the Saeima in May of that year.
