Education

The educational administration of Rezekne has launched the implementation of the Erasmus + project “My Best idea”. The project takes place in collaboration with the Swedish municipality of Pitea and with the Italian Laive municipality. Project activities are planned in three directions: entrepreneurship, interdisciplinary training and digital Portfolio.
The digital Portfolio will give you the opportunity to fix everything that the pupil does, to fix it and thus be seen, repeat if there is a need, as well as to assess growth in time. The co-operation partner of the Rēzekne municipality in the realization of project activities is Sakstagala Jānis KCo. elementary School, who already has separate workings as interdisciplinary, and the Optional School of Gifted Children (ABFA) in Riga, where the work is organised exclusively by interdisciplinary. The educational administration has previously developed a successful collaboration with THE ABBEF project on the work with talented children in the realization.
At the end of 2015, the first project training on the establishment of entrepreneurship at Luleo University and the observance of work in the schools of the municipality of Pitea took place. The project's activities included nine representatives of our party: Project Coordinator Iveta Bridge, Elita Opincane, Educational Management Officer, Sakstagala Jānis Kaida Master School teacher Anita Cercene, Anna Clusha, Anna Astica, Anita Doroščonoka, Sanita Ivanovsky, and the Optional School teacher Cynthia Blūmental and Marika Melne.
The events organised by Luleo University, Kaarin Kivimaki, and Professor Westberg, were extremely interesting, as they encouraged them to see opportunities in the pedagogical process to promote pupils' susceptibility and dability, rather than teach theory of entrepreneurship. Inspiration also turned out to be a visit to schools, because there was a tendency to think about differences in the organisation of the Latvian and Swedish educational process, opened new horizons and provided ideas as a way to work differently, which changes are topical today. The leading partners of the project - the municipality of Pitea had organised a comprehensive and interesting programme, as well as all week-long interest in cooperation, concern and support (especially in a foreign language).
Next step in the implementation of the project - dissemination, approximation and revitalisation of ideas gained in the visit. A blogger and organized video conferencing will be created to make sure the progress is made, during which all parties involved in the project should be told of the progress made. Next together, the meeting is planned at the end of April, when all three partners of the project partner will meet us in the municipality of Rezekne. Our mission: To show and tell all about the realization of an interdisciplinary approach in both hours and out-of-class work. As part of the project, we are planning to give guests an opportunity to learn lessons from both the pedagogy doctorate Karine Oganisjana and the school teacher Marika Melne and Cynthia Bloommene. We are planning to show guests Sakstagala Jānis Kaida's primary school and ABF work experience.
Thanks to the project's realization, we have realised that, while interdisciplinary learning is a huge challenge for teachers, pupils who are learning interdisciplinary are just winners: getting responsible because they are involved in planning, daring, setting goals, achieving them and, of course, addressing the challenges of life. As it turns out, all the above makes up business!
The project will continue with training in Italy, the development and dissemination of materials, videoconferencing until the end of 2017, so that we all have the willingness to learn new ways, the development of ideas and the power to act and show best experience at European level!
