25 January from at At 11:00 to 13:00, the State Administration School in cooperation with the Office of the Nordic Council of Ministers in Latvia calls for an informative seminar that will provide an opportunity to gain insight into the activities, objectives and tasks of the Nordic and Baltic State Mobility Programme “State Administration”, as well as to hear examples of experience.
 
During the informative seminar, the advisor of the Council of Ministers of the Nordic Council in Latvia, Daina Mežecka, will discuss the preparation of project applications and the criteria for the evaluation of the project. Ludmila Ivanova from the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development, Andris Izinkēvičs from Riga City Council, Sanda Zemite from Ogres Municipality and Inga Rokashne from the municipality of Valmiera City will share experiences on the planning and implementation of international experience sharing visits and seminars, as well as on the benefits of sharing experience with colleagues in neighbouring countries in the day-to-day work.

It is recalled that by 30 March 2018, public administration and local government employees may apply for the Nordic and Baltic State Mobility Programme “State Administration”. The programme supports the exchange of experience with the recovery of successful solutions, networking, harmonisation of administrative working methods and legislation and the promotion of the global competitiveness of the Baltic Sea region. In 2017, the Nordic and Baltic Mobility Programme “State Administration” received 26 applications from Latvia, 19 of which were supported.
