Representatives of the State Border Guard College visited Rēznas primary school

On 29 May, representatives of the State Border Guard College (hereinafter – THE VR): Major Inta Pocule of the Border Guard and Immigration Service Catalan assistant, General Sergeant Sandris Belinjevs, senior officer of the vocational education service, Senior specialist Dace Zarina and Section specialists derade Decsne participated in the youth career support event “profession day” organised by the Rēznas primary school and introduced pupils with the profession of border guard.
At the time of the event, THE VR representatives of classes 5-8 demonstrated a video film about the National Border Guard College, which provided an insight into the day-to-day work of cadets and the learning process FOR THE VR, as well as the career opportunities of border guards in the national border guard. The Inta Pokule told the children about the conditions in which they can cross the national border, showing the identity documents of the Republic of Latvia and demonstrating how they are being tested. Young people also looked at the technical features of border guards used in border control and photographed with special task unit equipment: helmets, armoured jackets, shields etc. In conclusion, THE REPRESENTATIVES of THE VR organised a quiz where young people responded to questions regarding State border guards, national border and personal identification documents, as well as organised a competition - who would quickly remember the ranks of service in the border guard and they would be placed in a more precise, hierarchical order.
