National Language Day Audriņu at Basic School

In response to the invitation of the Museum of Writing and Museum - to celebrate the official language day on 13 May, a tragic and interesting festival idea was implemented at Audriņu primary school.
From the morning, the school was “traveling a language basket.” For classes 5-9, different degrees of complexity were prepared. The children chose their own tasks, they performed and received points during the day. The 8 th class won the highest score. 2 nd place - 5 th grade, and 3 rd place - class 7. “Travelling language basket” was prepared by Sandra Jershava, a teacher of Latvian language and literature.
At the end of the festival, the pupils surveyed the poetry of the poetry, debating poems, revealing their talent in the art of speech.
