WE CAN thank you for a significant contribution to the promotion of entrepreneurship in Rēzekne District – the LEARN foundation

Among the winners of the competition “Rezekne Municipality 2015”, there are also several small entrepreneurs, a co-operation partner of the foundation “Rural Economy in Rēzekne District” (LEARN) - Dravnieks Žanis Jesko, Santa Ostaša - SIA “Creatives”, as well as z/s “mint”. At the celebration of the celebration of the prizes on 19 March, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development also congratulated the MINISTRY OF Environmental Protection and Regional Development on the activities OF the foundation LEARN, giving a thank-you article for a significant contribution to the promotion of entrepreneurship in Rezekne municipality.
The Cambodia family z/s “mint” from Sakstagala parish was recognised as the home of the municipality of Rezekne 2015. The farm is actively participating in the organised monthly domestic household and artisanal trade in “Lobs lobby”, offering a wide range of meat products. As the owners themselves, the special flavour of the recipe and their production is found in the experiment process. The quality of the production is evidenced by the large purchasers' responsiveness and long lines after it.
For the nomination “Rēzekne Municipality 2015”, both the owner of the bee drava, the performer of economic activity from Nagļu parish Žanis Yko and the manager of the company “Creative S” Santa Ostaša were nominated. At this time, the Commission awarded the award to Žanim Yesko. The two businessmen also participated in the LEARN project competition last year, where they attracted 3000 euros for the development of their economic activity. This enabled Jianim Yesko to rebuild his own inventory and replace the depreciated beehives, while Santa Ostasha bought a thermopress to expand the variety of creative services offered, i.e. placing special design images or text on different surfaces.
In the formal event, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development also praised the activities OF the LEARN Foundation, giving a thank-you article for a significant contribution to the promotion of entrepreneurship in Rezekne municipality. During the existence of a foundation, the monthly trade tradition of local domestic producers and craftsmen has been established, as well as a good collaboration with the Rēzekne Technology School, a number of seminars and educational events for the development of small entrepreneurs of Rezekne and the commencement of entrepreneurship have been organised. One of the most important support measures is the project competition for the creation and development of companies in the municipality of Rezekne. Last year 13 projects were approved, giving each to €3 000 to implement their business idea. This year, 30 project applications have been submitted to the competition, which will be examined by the evaluation Commission in 7 members. The results of this year's project will be known at the end of April. The great responsiveness of the Rezekne municipality shows that there are susceptible and creative people who raise prosperity with their work.
