Education

Recently, AN event was held AT THE Mākoņkalna pre-school educational institution – the grandparents' afternoon, which in the cool spring of that year was a pleasant warming of our hearts.
This year, the festival began unconventional. First of all, grandparents were invited to the Razna National Park's premises, where Regina Indriķe, head of the Nature Education Centre “Razna”, offered to look at an interesting film about natural values and Latgale cultural and historical environment in the territory of the Nature Park. There was a variety of activities during which we could try to determine the traces of different animals, look at the microscope.
The children had prepared a surprise for grandparents -- a video, in which grandchildren talked about how they help grandparents, how they spend their free time together, and that they love us very much. Then there was a concert with songs, dances, a theatre show about the gray, as well as their own gifts, which we all had a great deal of pleasure.
But we had to prepare for the event, too, the knife that is most like our grandchildren when they visit us. There was a large variety of milk and sugar cooked sugar beans, curd pie, biscuits, fruit, white bread with cream and sugar, compote and other delicities. It was also shared.
On behalf of all my grandparents, thank you for the excellent event!
