Vērēmu parish cup in volleyball mixed teams ended with “BB McCasanas” win
On December 19, a Vērēmu parish cup in a volleyball was held at the Rēzekne municipality in Vērēmu parish. There were unexpectedly many teams in the competition – 10. Adamova, BB McCasanas, Viļāni, Rēzekne, Rogovka, Feimaņi, Sakstagals, Kaunata, Malta and Audriņi. The composition of the teams was mixed – 4 men and 2 women.
The teams were split into two subgroups. IN their groups, BBB McCasanas and Viļāni won the first place, win in all games, while Rēzekne and Rogovka teams took part in the game for 3 rd place. The games on medals were very intense and emotional. The 3 rd place was won by the Rēzekne team, win Rogovka in two sets. In the final, most supporters and experts regarded the TEAM AS a team OF Viļānu. After the first Seta of Seth, there were visitors from Viļāniem, however, by showing a character and a large struggle, BB McCasans won the next two sets. Congratulations on the winners of the 1 st place: Aigar Kalniņa, Andris Bringuli, Oscar Krukovski, Edgar kauliņu, Raimonda kauliņu, ausmu Meinarti, Arnitu, and Tatjana Bažanov! The prizes were awarded with cups, medals and diplomas. Edgars Lutere (Viļāni) was recognised as the best player of the tournament.
