The Primary School of Verham is a member of the “clean Latvia!” competition in this school year. The students, parents and employees were actively involved in the collection of maculatics and spent batteries, while on 25 May the participants of the natural research group visited Latvia's forest days in Tērvete.
On 25 May, the Latvian Forest Days was organized in the Latvian National Forest Nature Park in Tērvete in order to make a good work on a well-made work for the benefit of cleaner Latvia. This event was also visited by the twenty-eight children of the Verham Basic School, the most active maculators and battery collectors, as well as the participants of the group of natural researchers. The event took place in the latest part of the Nature Park – the Land of Curbada, where the importance of Latvia's green gold – forests in our lives – was particularly noted and highlighted. There was a competition for “clean Latvia!” won the winners and the party with Agnes Rakovsk, Mike Duo and the Jew belt.
Throughout the day, everyone had the opportunity to visit around 80 different environmental conference workshops free of charge, as well as with the care of “Latvian State Forests” for all major festival participants was a free entrance to THE LVM Nature Park fee.
Thank the municipality of Rēzekne for support for the attendance of the event!
