Willow Foundation scholarships — Catholic Rēzekne municipality

As a result of 173 donors from Latvia, THE US, Canada, England, Germany, Sweden, Australia and Venezuela, the willow foundation starts with 603 scholarships in the new 2014/2015m year, with a strong but low-income youth. From Rezekne and Viļānu, a scholarship is received by 56 students this year, among them 18 young scholarships that begin studying on 1 September. From the Rēzekne District, the scholarships are first received: Judge Luca (receiving the scholarship of the former willow foundation of his county, Andreja Isayeva), Laima Rukmane (“Danske Bank” scholarship), Agita Murniece (Adelaide Latvian Society – Benita Violence), Agnes Adijāne, Santa Strode, Laimrota Litavniece, Pavel Scherbacov, Andris White, and Elina Traikule receive the memorial scholarship of Asya and Berndta Evert, Dagnis Troška (THE memorial scholarship of Jura grava), Mr Peteris Sergeyev (the memorial scholarship of the Jura grava), Mr Peteris Sergeyev (the memorial scholarship of the Jura grava), and Agnese Sniansky (the memorial scholarship of the Anglijas fonda) and Agnese Muižniece (Vaidas Mikketa Jordan stipendia). From Viļānu, the scholarships have been awarded for the first time to Desainy (Arnolda and Helena (Gallia) Sildegu Foundation scholarship students) and Zane Martinova (Aivars Anderson family scholarship).
The scholarships administered by the willow fund are between 1500 and 4400 EURO in the academic year. With 412 scholarships, the contracts were extended, 191 is a new scholarship, and 35 talented young people remain in the list of candidates.
The willow foundation has shown in these 12 years that the support provided by donors is a serious contribution to the future of Latvia. More than 1600 students were educated in the fund. They find work, continue studying in masters, doctorate. This year it is true that we are going to cooperate with THE DONATION. LV and many people's donations will be nine friends' scholarships this year.
The application for the 2014-2016 scholarships will begin on 15 January 2015 and will last until 1.3.2015.
