The beginning of a new school year is also a moment when joy and hope in the eyes of so many people show that the willow foundation has a good reason to proud of 1906 scholarships who have already received higher education in 13 years. This year, 670 scholarships are studying with 189 fellowship scholarships. Eur 1 045 000 are planned to be paid in scholarships. The willow fund administers 23 companies, 15 funds, 15 organisations and 139 private scholarships. By honouring donors, the willow fund is called on behalf of donors.
Some of the scholarships are special because they are derived from the donations of former scholars - they have completed their studies, just beginning their work, some still in a resident or a magistrate. With their willingness to help those who need it at this moment, young people show that they have learned from their donors that they are becoming richer. This year, 15 young people will be studying with friends' scholarships.
From Rezekne and Viļānu in this year of school with scholarships administered by the willow foundation, 56 young people, among them 21 young scholarships that begin studying in September.

Since the foundation of the willow foundation in 13 years from Rezekne and Viļānu, 227 young people have been studying with scholarship support.
The first scholarship, who returned to the foundation as a donor – Mechislav Maculēvičs, said: "The example of the founder and supporters of the foundation is also a small fraction of my conscience, which calls for more than before. The willow foundation was founded in 2002 with the aim of supporting, in the form of scholarships, strong, capable but low-income young people in the acquisition of education.
The application for the annual scholarships of 2016/2016 will begin on 15 January 2016 and will last until 1.03.2016.
