The National Guard's 36 th fight battalion soldiers will learn survival skills in winter conditions
From 21 to 25 January, military training will take place in the territory OF Lūznavas and Ozolaines parish (forest area between Luznavu and Ismera lakes), during which approximately 30 soldiers from the 36 th Battalion of the National Guard will be trained to perform service tasks in winter conditions. Soldiers will learn skills such as settlements in winter, survival skills after the arrival of ice, equipment and weapons in winter conditions as well as orientation.
During the winter of military training there is a challenge, they test soldiers' preparedness, equipment and team work.
The National Guard's 36 th Battle Support Battalion Luznava is a professional service soldier unit, which is currently being actively assembled and provides extensive opportunities for Latvian citizens to acquire a soldier's profession with further service in Luznava or Daugavpils. The National Guard shall receive nationals of the Republic of Latvia who have reached 18 years of age but are not more than 55 years of age and wish to attend the National Guard. To join the National Guard, contact the National Guard Battalion nearest to the place of residence and receive further instructions. In order to simplify the application for service in the National Guard and to promote feedback with the residents, the single daily telephone number of the National Guard has started - 1811.

In Latgale Brigade, six battalions are located, the 32 nd Introducer Battalion of the National Guard in Rēzekne, the 34 th Introducer Battalion of the National Guard in Daugavpils, the 35 th Introducer Battalion of the National Guard in Preilos, the 55 th Introducer Battalion of the National Guard in Aizkraukle, and the 56 th Battalion of the National Guard in Jçkabpils, as well as the 36 th Battalion of the National Guard in Loznava.

Residents are encouraged not to worry, seeing the movement of soldiers and national guardsmen outside military landfills and unit placements, the deployment of machinery and other equipment and the entry of positions IN THE territory OF Lūznavas and Ozolaines parish.
Training ammunition and simulation equipment will not be used during training. We draw attention to the fact that the training ammunition, if found, must not be touched. The areas will then be cleaned up.
