Citizens are encouraged to collect their property and do not commit offences

The Administrative Inspectorate of the municipality of Rezekne invites residents to take care of their property in order to have procedures and cleanliness. Increased attention will be paid to the properties and places where the grass is not yet covered.

The Inspectors of the Administrative Inspectorate shall visit the territory of the municipality every day in order to identify and address the issues with non-shared areas in a preventive manner. The Inspectorate recalls that in accordance with Paragraph 7.1.1 of Regulation No. 41 of the Rēzekne District Council “on the maintenance of houses, their territories and structures in Rezekne municipality”, it is stipulated that the length of the medicinal product shall not exceed 10 cm in the territory adjacent to the property, but in another total area 20 cm.

During inspections, the Administrative Inspectorate will contact the owners of the non-co-ordinated areas when detecting the problematic sites in order to agree on a specific time period in which the property is to be recovered. If, on the other hand, it is established after re-examination that the property is not reconciled and the requirements are not met, the infringement of the binding rules will be decided on the initiation of the administrative procedure. An infringement of such rules may be subject to a warning or a fine: natural persons up to seventy fines of EUR 350, legal persons up to two hundred and eighty fines equivalent to EUR 1400.

The Administrative Inspectorate recalls that drivers must also comply with both laws and regulations.

On May 18, 2023, IN Audriņu parish, Audroos at the municipal building, the driver with the vehicle, drove along the Green Area and through the stadium where the driving is not scheduled. The State Police, which initiated the administrative infringement proceedings regarding non-compliance with road traffic regulations and road traffic law and punished the driver of the vehicle with a fine of 11 fines, which corresponds to 55 EURO, was informed of that offence.

In the case of waste disposal, a liability is also provided for in unintended locations, then it is advisable whether the waste is to be disposed of at the site intended for it, in the container, or to be punished for such infringement if the waste is disposed of where the waste is present.

It should be noted that, on 15 February 2023, it was found that in Rozentova Street, Maltā, Maltas parish, Rēzekne municipality at the graveyard, municipal waste was discarded, wrapped in sacks clearly brought from home. The person who committed this offence and referred to the administrative liability of the municipal council of the municipal council of the Waste Management Law and the municipality of Rēzekne was clarified in accordance with Regulation No. 58 of the municipal council of the municipality of Rēzekne on the management of municipal waste in the Rēzekne municipality for non-compliance with the requirements of Section 34.1. Such an infringement may be subject to a warning or a fine: natural persons from fourteen to two hundred fines, representing between EUR 70 and EUR 1000, legal persons from fifty to five hundred and sixty fines, representing between EUR 250 and EUR 2800.

The Administrative Inspectorate encourages the people to collect their properties, discard waste, unintended places and do not commit offences, actively engage, pointing to unshared sites, so that common forces are faced with problems.
