Outbound health rooms IN Maltas and Kaunatas parish associations

The project “lives healthy in Rezekne District!” as part of the Rēzekne municipality, the people of the Latvian Red Cross are given the opportunity to visit the outdoor health rooms organised by the Latgale Committee, which will be held IN August Maltas in the parish association - Silmalas, Maltas, Ozolaines, Lūznavas, Pušas and Feimaņu parish, as well AS Kaunatas parish association in the territory of the association - Griškānu, Mākoņkalna, Kaunatas, Čornajas and Stoļerovas parish. 

An educational lecture on reducing the risk of cardiovascular morbidity will be provided to visitors to the outdoor health room, with the aim of strengthening theoretical knowledge of the signs, causes and prevention of stroke and infarction, informing the main causes and signs of stroke and infarction which may affect them (high blood pressure, smoking, high blood glucose or diabetes, high cholesterol levels) and their co-relationships. Awareness of the risk of cardiovascular morbidity and lifestyle correction opportunities will also be increased.

Self-control measurements, i.e. qualitative and accurately measured blood pressure, weight, blood sugar and cholesterol levels, will be performed for each health-room visitor following the educational lecture.

In order to be able to ensure the implementation of the measures, taking into account the observance of all the epidemiological limitations of this moment in relation to the prevalence of Covid-19, each of its members should be signed by each of the association coordinators before the event is searched.  

A project “live healthy in Rēzekne District” by the municipality of Rezekne will take place in the “Extraordinary Health Room” event. No 9.2.4.2/16/I/027. The project is financed by the European Social Fund.
