New entrepreneurs and business idea authors are invited to log in TO IDAL Rēzekne business incubator support programmes

Business incubators of Latvia Investment and Development Agency (LIAA) are reporting 202The spring of spring 1 in pre-incubation and incubation programmes. The acceptance of applications for participation in business support programmes will be open from 1 to 22 March.  

Since the beginning of the programme in 2017, THE IDAL Rēzekne business incubator support has been used by 123 business ideas authors, creating and testing their idea business model in the pre-incubation program, and 60 entrepreneurs, developing their ideas in the incubation programme – acquiring the knowledge necessary for entrepreneurship, using co-financing and strategically planning the next steps in entrepreneurship. Currently, 13 business idea authors are testing their ideas in THE PINK programme, but there are 36 businessmen in incubation. 

THE LAAA regional business incubators have demonstrated over four years that the programme co-financed by EU funds is an effective form of support for the growth of new businesses, is convinced BY Skaidrīte Baltace, head of THE BUSINESS incubator OF THE LIAA Rēzekne. As from the beginning of 2017, the companies in the incubation have been able to generate a total of EUR 7 765 894, including export creators of EUR 1 675 541, providing 90 new jobs in the region and paying 1 165 013 EURO in taxes. The participants themselves recognise that a significant benefit is the Community of new entrepreneurs, contacts, knowledge and experience that can be learned from other participants. In addition, the authors of ideas who develop one idea during the pre-incubation support period sometimes create new partnerships and successfully use knowledge in other teams and other new innovative ideas. 

Two programs are offered to stakeholders. Incubation Support Program invited to apply for companies not registered for more than three years. During incubation, participants receive various types of advice, including from mentors who are knowledgeable in the sector, the possibility of attending seminars, access to co-production facilities and the Community as well as financial support. 

In turn, the authors of business ideas will be able to join pre-incubation programwhich is suitable for both natural and legal persons who want to assess the viability of their business idea. Within six months, pre-incubation participants shall participate in intensive training programmes by creating and testing prototype of their product or service, in addition to receiving the support of competent mentors and recommendations to address business challenges. 

2021. on March 2, (Tuesday), all stakeholders are invited to THE online activities of THE IDAL Rēzekne business incubator:

• INFO hour14.00, which will describe the services provided by the incubator and support for business ideas or business development. Within an HOUR, the incubator team will respond to questions of interest in preparing and submitting applications for pre-incubation and incubation.

• BREAK OR BURST | experience story session15.00, which will be able to hear business stories. Entrepreneurs will share a variety of successes and failures, each of which can learn. The mission of each story is to show the value of the experience, inspire and encourage not to be afraid to develop business ideas and go ahead to break up or burst. “Timber Kit” and “bubble games” are the story of “Latgale vegetable logistics” and “LIDE Rēzekne business incubator” at this time.

The business incubator services of Rezekne are available to the authors of business ideas and new entrepreneurs in the administrative territory of 11 municipalities in North-East Latgale, including Rezekne, Rezekne, Viļānu, Ludza, Carsava, Zilupes, Ciblas, Awards, Vilaka, Rugja and Baltinava.
