Career Week activities encouraged the ICT sector to be identified

From 11 to 15 October, a career week was held throughout Latvia, including the students of the Rezekne District School. During his career, pupils had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) industry, while parents and teachers would be able to assess how much they knew about the sector and to get suggestions on how to help children and young people in their careers. In events organised BY VIAA, school management, pedagogical career consultants and educational subject teachers or class educators participated in around 1200 students of Rezekne municipality. In online events or in the framework of their classes, pupils had the opportunity to listen to the stories of their school graduates - ICT professionals, to familiarise themselves with professional scenes, to create their own creative works through ICT skills, to discuss, participate in thematic learning hours and at various other events.

Several events organised by the National Education Development Agency (VIAA) were held online during his career.
