Maltas secondary school students in the workshop “for the future” simulate their future profession

At the end of November, Maltas secondary school students in classes 8a, 8c, 9a and 9c had the opportunity to think about their future career in a career development support event — a workshop for your future. Event 8 began with a circular discussion on the potential for further education, an opportunity to choose a profession for life. Discussions on whether any professions could disappear and would not be necessary in the future. Students expressed their willingness to choose their future profession, which will be important to them. In activity related to pupils' interests, students could exchange places with others who share common interests and hobbies. In the next activity, pupils divided the assigned professions into groups: man-nature, technique, creativity, help to others, and man-body, health. The pupils selected 2 professions from each group and displayed them in the “silent show”, allowing the other participants to remember them.
Class 9 pupils discussed what professions might not be required in the future, or the choice of their future profession could be influenced by someone. The pupils shared their thoughts on the high school and technicality and mines that were important when choosing a profession. In the discussion on the skills needed, the pupils expressed their thoughts on what they had, the strengths and possible mines.
