In the metalworking factory LEAX opened a hardening shop

In the metalworking plant SIA “LEAX Rēzekne” RSEZ, located at the Rēzekne Garden, Rēzekne Municipality, ON 15 May, the new metal hardening shop was discovered solemnly, marking a new page in the development of the company. Eur 1.4 million has been invested in the establishment of the ceh and these investments will both increase the company's export earnings and the number of jobs. The net turnover of SIA “Leax Rezekne” will increase on average by one million euros with the provision of metal hardening and subsequent post-processing.

As the technical director of SIA “Leax Rezekne” was informed, Gints Jahuks, so far IN THE LEAX group in the Baltic region, all parts of the parts took place in Sweden, Koping, now many parts will be toughened in Rezekne, and also those produced in the second LEAX group in Latvia – Pinkēvios, Babīte parish. In the new 1000 square metre production building, which was built in 2013, two Ibsen T8 hardening furnaces, four discarding furnaces, before and after the treatment wash and a modern metallurgical laboratory providing high-value measurements of hardness and microstructure are installed. Eight new jobs have been created in the Parts Handling shop, while 12 workers are employed in post-processing, which is an interconnected process, so the company has created additional 20 new jobs that are not a small number in Latgale.

As the President of the Association of Engineering and Metal Processing Enterprises Vilnis Rantiņš, “LEAX Rezekne” is the fastest growing company in the sector, “LEAX Rezekne” is the fastest growing company in the sector: “It is also obvious that LEAX's management is thinking in a further perspective by developing production lines where products with added value are being prepared.” Sandra Rēzekne, head of the RSEZ Special Economic Zone (RSEZ), noted how “LEAX Rezekne” is a model for other companies as well as the rich range of awards and diplomas, including “RSEZ annual company” in 2011 and 2012, the Latvian Employers' Confederation award “best employer in the region” in 2013 and other awards. As a result of the discovery of the new shop, the executive director of Rezekne, Jānis Troška, wished that THE success story of LEAX Rezekne continues and many new specialists would join the company in the near future.

THE Rezekne Special Economic Zone (RSEZ) company SIA “LEAX Rezekne” was established in 2008, as a unit of the Swedish metalworking company LEAX Baltix and is treated for the Volvo and Scania cars produced in Sweden. 132 employees are currently working at the factory in three shifts. In the Baltic States, it is the only type of company in its sector. Since LEAX Baltix separated the Rezekne plant in 2010 in a separate company, SIA LEAX Rezekne has grown annually in both production volumes and net turnover. Last year, the company's turnover already reached 10.47 million euro. This year, the company plans to expand the geographical area of production because IT has also started production of car parts for the German market.
