For parents

The long-awaited summer holidays, when children spend more time outside the house, in playgrounds, beaches, countryside and elsewhere. In order to be happy about the sunny days, we call on older children to be reminded of safety. The child spent most of the day in his activities outside the premises. They are playing games, bathing, cycling, camps, Hiking, festival celebration in nature, and fire. It is time for parents to pay extra attention to children's safety. Some suggestions how to make the beautiful summer of children safe.
  1. You need to know where your child is. So agree with your child that he will always inform you about where you're going to go, with which to stay and how long it is planned to stay and how you will be contacted.
  2. Safety on water and water at water is a very strict measure, so children should explain potential risks. Do not leave the children without monitoring at the time of their swim. Even if you're present, you're only in safe and familiar places. In unknown places, be sure to check the bottom of the water body. In children whose floating skills are not sufficient, only be allowed to stay in water with safe and swimming aids (floating, safety jackets). Do not allow adolescents to swim alone - together with a friend, it will be safer to find help if necessary. It should be remembered that it is very dangerous to jump into the water where it is not intended. The water temperature should not be too low.
  3. Talk to your children again on road traffic regulations. The way to school in children is usually known and customary. In summer, problems can be caused by unusual, unfamiliar paths. Often in summer children play and forget about road safety. Children should not play on a street or a road driving a car. In particular, caution should be exercised when the ball is rolled onto the street. The child must be told that a bomb can be bought by a new one if a car is going to get it. Explain how to navigate safely through a bicycle or roller when the helmet is to be placed in the head when the knee and elbow protectors are used. Do not leave the child alone with a bicycle until you are sure of the child's driving skills.
  4. It is necessary to discuss the danger that can be caused by the operation of the fire. Fire safety experts recall that the main conditions of fire safety are - not to play with flammable toys, candles, matches and lighters. Keep flammable objects out of reach of the child. Try a method recommended by the doctor of a child to check the safety of the child. Look at your knees if you're crawling, but you feel a child's body and then walk around the house - try to step into all possible places and evaluate the potential threats. Summer is also a grilling time. Remember that grill liquids are flammable and flammable. Never leave the grill out of sight because the children will certainly be interested and do not need much to burn.
  5. It is important for children to remind children that they should not play with electrical switches, wires and contacts and electrical appliances. Often, the toy of children in the near-voltage lines ends tragically. When playing hiding, children sometimes select electrical switchboards as their hiding place and make serious injuries or lose their lives. It is necessary to teach the adult to tell the adult if contacts or openings are damaged. Remember to always place all the tools and disconnect from the power and store the electrical devices in a safe place. For children, as you know, such devices don't even like and need a very small moment in which an unseen child can blame yourself.
  6. Not less dangerous is poisoning with unfamiliar substances and poisonous plants.
  7. Contact with foreign animals may also be caused by dangerous injuries (it should be noted that the animal's behaviour is unpredictable).
  8. The children are very attracted by unfinished building objects, barn roofs, new buildings, etc. In these places, children are shrying, such as jumping races from a height or thinking other games that may result in injuries.
  9. Pay attention to the fact that it is not advisable to talk to unfamiliar people, to sit in other cars. Warn you that you can't take anything from the stranger and never go with you.
  10. Children should be reminded where to search for help in different cases, when you need to go to your neighbors when you call parents and call emergency services by phone 112.
  11. Do not be indifference if you notice that the health or safety of a foreign child is endangered.
  12. Children learn from an adult example, they do what their parents do. An unseen child is constantly trying to understand the world, so that he is at risk of being traumatised, so there is no need for caution and knowledge of evil.
Parents are those who are the most responsible for their children and the parents should first be the ones who tell their children and teach about the respect of security measures in every situation of life.
Summer children have the most beautiful seasons when they accumulate energy and vitamins for the whole year. To be rich in exciting adventures and interesting events!
