Fish resources

On August 24, “Razna Lake – Man and Natural” in Razna Lake Tiles Gulf included eel juveniles. 49.50 euro has been spent to supplement the fish resources of Lake Razna lake, the funding has come from the money collected by the association. The juveniles of eel were supplied by the Lithuanian firm Žemele.

Approximately 2400 eel juveniles were placed in the Razna Lake. In the transport containers, the eels are filled with lake water to prepare them for water temperature. They are then placed close to the shore, almost in the hall, so that the eels can be made into the new environment. The eel juveniles are 4 years old, 25 long and each weighing approximately 45 grams. As explained BY JUB “Žemele”, the juveniles of eels, which are bigger, are easier to adapt, and they have greater opportunities to protect themselves in their free nature.

Although the eels grow slowly, and they are moving not only in water but also by land, the addition of such fish resources is valuable for local catches.
