Every year in the middle of the summer, Rēzekne municipality gives its people and guests a huge, exciting and sporting series of events – the Days of Rezekne. This year, the Covid-19 pandemic led to the search for new ways to celebrate festivals jointly and family, but not to violate the restrictions on assembly. By restoring the previous tradition, the most beautiful farms were taken over this summer, and in the end of the competition a total of 16 and 17 July was summed up by the owners of the most conspicuous trees.

In total, 50 properties were applied for in the competition “beautiful Muna tāva” – single-seat, private home villages and multi-apartment houses. The valuation of ornamental properties took place in each parish association separately. As the leader of THE Nautrēnu parish association Livia Plavinsky said, each of the mushrooms visited was packed with flowers and faded with different decorations: “proud that you are in our municipality and that you do so fantastic work.” We even had an idea that we could create a tourist route through the most beautiful mushrooms, for what to see and learn is in each of them. '

As well as the evaluation, the awarding event was held in each individual association – 16 July AT Lūznavas in Manor (Maltas parish association) and Lendžu in free-nature erection (Nautrēnu parish association), while 17 July – in Makoņkalns (Kaunatas parish association) and Signagala Franz Tradog Museum “Colnasate” (Dricānu parish association).

Winners of the competition:

Dricānu in parish association:

  • Kantinieku parish “New River Home” (owners Maria and Nikolai Kurašovi);

Kaunatas in parish association:

  • Kaunatas parish “flower seed” (owners Irina and Dzintars Chudari);

All participants in the competition received a thank-you article and a photo collage with their farm views, a 100 Eur gift card, as well as a club pinned Konstantin Bindy basket with Rēzekne-led businessmen. The winners of the competition also received the painter association “V.I.V.A.” at the time of the “beautiful Muna tāva, even more beautiful painted” landscape. As the “V.I.V.A.” was told, the painter's breeze Ushmouse, in each of the mushrooms where the artist was visiting, could feel the energy of the owners, even if they did not meet the owners themselves. “We also put that energy on the canvas.”

“Your mushrooms are like live works.” And you are the masters of this live art, “speaking to the participants of the competition,” said the head of the temporary administration OF the municipality of Rezekne Monvīds Švarcs. “For your mushrooms – the art of your own hands – is pleased with both you and the surrounding and all our nowadays!” Let you have a lot of power and creative ideas so you can make more beautiful things. "

Similarly, in these days each parish association will be awarded a prize competition “Rezekne Municipality 2019” and “Rezekne District Enterprise 2020” for winners. The honesty of entrepreneurs usually took place in Joseph's Day on 19 March, but in recent years Covid-19 due to pandemic restrictions, the measure had to be abolished. The winners were set in several nominations – the year's new company, the annual agricultural company, the annual family business, the annual artisanal/domestic producer, the annual tourism service provider, the annual innovation implementer, the annual company - THE VIP (local identity product), the annual employer.
