Calls on children and young people to apply for the European Academy of Academy

Sunday, May 6, National Film Centre for the sixth time organise the work of the European Academy of Academy children and young people in Latvia and await the participants' applications by 27 April. The jury will take place at the same time in 36 European countries, looking at three balls in one day and voting for the best.
 
To identify the European film for best children and young people, since 2013 at the same time in thirty six countries on the first Sunday of May a panel of children and young people of the European Academy of Academy who watch three balls in the course of the day, participate in discussions, evaluate the movies and vote on their favourite at the end of the day. The panel decisions taken in all countries are collected online, prizes Young Audience Award the award ceremony is broadcast from the German Internet online and the prize is received by a film that receives the most votes in the overall assessment of all Member States.

The application must indicate the name, age, telephone number, e-mail address of the applicant and answer to the question “why do you want to participate in the European Academy Youth jury?”
 
This year, a Swiss-Italian adventure film is celebrated Fugitive girl/Girl in Flight, an exciting story of a 11-year-old girl from Tuscany who runs away from home and spent two nights in a gypsy camp in Rome. Other film – Finnish amizant documentary film Toy-horse revolution/Hobbyhorse Revolution, аizkustinošs story of young people who are exciting and even participating in toy horses. Exotic drama of the third film, French and Burkina Faso Boy/Wallay, the story of a 13-year-old man sent from his home to a West African country in Burkina Faso, where he must become a real man. All filmas are taken in 2017 and suitable for children and young people.

It is not advisable to delay the work of the jury! – the interest of young people with each year is increasing, while the cinemas “K.Sun” holds about 120 jury participants!
