The Latvian Association of Startin.LV Enterprises also calls for the logging of EUvsVirus, which will take place on 24-26 April. The European-wide online hackon, organised by the European Commission in close cooperation with all 27 EU Member States and the EU research and innovation programme Horizon 2020, is based on national hackers already undertaken and aims to create excellent solutions quickly.
In Europe and the world, there is an active fight against the containment of coronavir Covid-19 and the problems and consequences thereof, so the European Commission and EU Member States have launched an invitation to participate in pan-European haunta in order to combine innovators, collaborators and consumers across Europe with a view to developing solutions for the consequences of Covid-19. Euvsvirus, led by the European Innovation Council, will be held on 24, 25 and 26 April and will cover six categories requiring effective short-term solutions: health and life, business continuity, remote employment and education, social and political cohesion, digital finances and other challenges.
It is intended to develop solutions for 20 challenges and bring up to 60 000 participants from around the world. The European Commission invites developers, designers, creative minds and all troubleshooters with expertise in health, business, social and political cohesion, education, digital finance and other areas. The call to apply for companies, universities, public and private organisations as well as team coordinators.
“The pan-European haunton EUvsVirus is a call for everyone to participate in the fight against Covid-19. It is an opportunity to share their demands on behalf of the common good and to show Latvia as a capable country. The teams from Latvia have already achieved innovative and effective solutions to HackForce and the Global Hack, but why stop here if we can go ahead and develop solutions in a more wide-ranging habit”, emphasizes the project manager Annamarijs trausa.
Online haston can be registered here until Friday, April 24: https://euvsvirus.org/
Euvsvirus winners will be invited to join the European Innovation Council Platform, which will facilitate contacts with potential customers (e.g. hospitals) and provide access to investors, foundations and other funding opportunities from across the European Commission.
