We are invited to follow the debate IN LTV1 on the situation in the European Union!

This week, the European Parliament in Strasbourg will have a political debate on the situation in the European Union: between President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the European Parliament Antonio Tajani and Members.
Traditionally, the debate begins with President Juncker's speech on the current situation in the European Union and his strategic vision of future developments, which is then discussed with the European Parliament in an interactive discussion. The opportunities and resources of the European Union to combat terrorism, future decisions in addressing the migration crisis, Europe after #Brexit - some of the topics on which discussions are expected.
The debate in the September plenary session has become a tradition and will be held for the 7 th time this year. They will be held on Wednesday 13 September, at 10:00 - 12:50 (Latvian time).
For the first time this year, the debate will be seen live on Latvian television! Prior to the beginning of the debate, 9:50 Latvian television journalist Frederick Oak will lead an introductory discussion-conversation with the foreign and European affairs expert.
