Anne's day since ancient times in Berzgale is a great festival, as THE Bērzgales church is a swelled Sv. Anne's honor. In the Latvian People's traditions, Anne Day is a festival. It is also a market day.
In the birthday, the spiritual and timeless traditions of Anne's day have come together and the festival has been widely celebrated during the First Free State. This year, Bērzgale svin 550 th anniversary, since its name is mentioned in articles.
Anne's Day in Berzgale will be celebrated on 29 July. An extensive programme of measures is foreseen. Since the morning, the trade of craftsmen, domestic producers, economic operators will be operational.
The aim of the market is to offer and promote the production of artisanal and domestic producers. It calls for the participation of craftsmen, domestic producers, industrial art studios, eko and Bio production producers and traders, catering service providers, free-to-air entertainment service providers for adults and children (children's attractions, horse riding, locking, etc.). For the festival to be cheerful, traders are invited to design their trading venues, using natural materials – forests, grassland flowers etc., as well as using different elements of Latvian people's clothing in the clothing themselves.
Traders with industrial goods are also invited.
