Sakstagala Job Cross primary school students will be instructed to sort waste

On October 22, SIA “ALAAS '' employees will be visiting Sakstagala Jānis KCo. in elementary school to teach pupils to sort the waste. During an interactive event, students will be given theoretical knowledge of why the waste is to be disposed of, what damage occurs to us and the environment if the waste is disposed of in nature or burnt, which happens to waste to be used for recycling, if they are disposed of in a sorted waste container. The pupils will then practically sort the waste because the sorted waste containers for paper, plastic and glass will be installed at the school. It is a pleasure that educational institutions decide to sort waste and offer students the opportunity to act correctly and responsibly!
