Permit for non-citizen to acquire immovable property - description of service

If the purpose of future utilisation of land, which is indicated in the submission, is not in contradiction with the spatial plan or local plan of the municipality, the local government shall give consent to the acquisition of land in 20 days. Consent for land acquisition is not given if the land is located: 1) in the State border zone;
2) natural reserves and other protected areas in natural reserve areas;
3) the coastal dune of the Baltic Sea and the Gulf of Riga in the protection zone;
4) in the protection zones of public bodies and watercourses;
5) agricultural and forest land;
6) deposits of mineral resources of national significance.
Receipt of services documents required:
Submission;
The purpose of the future use of this land shall be indicated in the submission;
A copy of the purchase contract of the immovable property;
Copy of the personal identification document.
