Audriņu primary school students familiarise themselves with the “willow” recreational centre

IN the warm and sunny day of 6 October, THE 7 th grade school students of the basic school of Audriņu went to excursion in the course of Latvian language hours – in the hiking to the recreational centre “wiltoli” IN the parish OF Sakstagala.
The attention of pupils and teachers was attracted by the possibility of combining active rest and training. Children were offered to look at exhibition grass “nostalgia”. They tried to imagine the life of that time, interested in the subjects of the household, many of whom had never seen and knew what they were supposed to do. In the course of a conversation, thinking about spiritual values, in-depth knowledge in Latvian, the taste of pupils, was encouraged. After the museum, the children went to the World War II Park.
Excursion - Hiking is one way to successfully implement the intersubject link. The acquired knowledge can also be used in other subjects (history, social sciences, household, geography, class hours). The pupils not only gained new information, enriched the word stock in Latvian, actively rested, but also learned to cooperate, gained cultural skills.
