On 30 September, the Rēzekne Technology Academy took place in the “scientists' night 2016”, which led to various events, bringing together one theme “technology and quality of life”.

Students of classes 4, 5 and 6 of the Audriņu primary school attended an activity in the chemistry laboratory, which saw various experiments, interactive activities – teaching and learning computer games. “Let's get to know/Isapaeisim” – the game introduced the excellent beginning of the 19 th century and the beginning of the 20 th century – introducing new discoveries in the day-to-day life of that era. Students met with digital controllable equipment and their performance, with student-made works and with “sumo – robot” fighting. Children were introduced to “global experiment in fashion engineering” – an improvised exhibition with a presentation of experimental results.

All “scientists' night 2016” visitors were further acquainted with the introduction of technologies and the impact on modern day-to-day life. Special attention was paid to environmental protection problems by the organisers.

Each year, the number of participants is increasing. It is delighted that the young generation is trying to find out a lot of new and interesting and that our school pupils had a chance to attend this unique event for the fourth consecutive year.
