This year, a white tablecloth was invited to honor the heroes... Each and every time has and will have their own understanding of them, but Latvia can be proud of its quiet heroes, those whose life and work meter is not long talk, but the work and the love of the fathers.
One such quiet hero is a Maltas parish-born artist, Juris Gaigals (1931-2018), who died on 6 May after a Sv. In the Rosentova Roman Catholic Church, a tombstone was enclosed in the adjacent cemetery. It may seem modest, BUT it must be taken into account that it was the artist who had chosen it. But the stone is a cold testimony, most important is what the artist continues to live in and inspire!
After the celebration of the monument, Jura gaigal's relatives, friends, neighbors, classmates Donat Kondrov, and nurse Helen Jakushonoka gathered at a white-covered tablecloth AT Maltas in the history museum at the time of the memorial. The stories of co-human beings revealed the new facets of the honourable artist's new unknown personality.
Sylvia Pigožne, head of THE MVM and commemorative event, said that we knew him as a bright, besty, very modest and simple man, a clever and humor. Also very generous, because many houses have artists' gifts. After his personal exhibition, i also received a painting “Lake Cirrus” in the gift of the eu, which taught my childhood memories of Aglona. But this time MVM from the artist's daughter, Daces, received a wonderful gift – his father's painting with Latgale farmhouse. But in this event we learned that he danced in the People's dance collective “dance” and worked with the alpinism. Juris Gaigal spent much time on his relative Anton Pranch Maltā. Neighboring Anton's house lives in the Korolimoku family. (In the event, the flute was played by Martha Korolimo.) Karina Korolimo told him that he had always come to a nearby crucifix in May. She noticed that the artist had an active position, her opinion on everything that was happening in the world. The coronal family often had to take a respectable artist with a sister to Rezekne, where they had stayed in winter. Donat Kondrov, on the other hand, told him that he and Juri were classmates. But Helen Jakusoka, the nurse, remembered her as a very bright man who wasn't angry and complained about the difficulties and health of life. As Yuri liked all the light, beautiful, then Mrs. Helen called for a song to sing “at the church of God.” She admitted that if there was more people like a lawyer, it would be much easier to live. When she thought about him, she came to know that “the sun can be seen in puddle.”
“How nice to see Daddy's memorial at a white-covered table and it is aligned with the anniversary of the restoration of Latvia's independence.” My dad was a Latvian patriot all his life, actively involved in the People's Front, standing in the Baltic, ”recalls his daughter Dace gaigala.“ On 4 May 2005, when we celebrated the 15 th anniversary of the independence of Latvia, Daddy asked him to take a photograph of that tree. It was said that this was what he stood on May 4, 1990, when a vote was held at the summit, but people gathered outside and counted voices. Stood looking at the top Council windows, with hope and faith in the heart that Latvia will be free. '
By demonstrating photos from the family album, she revealed the facts about several important events and character properties of MR Gaigalam. But at the end of the event, she read a wish from THE memories written by J. gaigala in 2004, in which the artist emphasized, “Very grybate, so that myusu youthful sovur will be the Principles of Democratism, but golvon—to make 10 dave commandments.” The daughter also read a fragment from Daddy's memories of the illustrations of the People's songs.

Nothing ends with a man's departure or a granite in the place of his anger... Do not end when there is an honour and beautiful if there are people who remember and make multiple points instead of a point. Thank THE Head of the Museum OF History OF Maltas for Silvija Pigožne for professional attitudes and the organisation of the event. Thank Dacei Gaigalai for the openness and understanding of the artist's memorial. Thank everyone who took part in the memo at a white-covered table to share the white memories of the Latvians, which is a model of loving life and homeland...
