CFLA calls for the application for ERDF support for the development of production facilities and infrastructure

The Central Finance and Contract Agency (CFLA) shall announce the selection of open project applications as aid for investments in the establishment or reconstruction of production facilities and infrastructure. For this purpose, €25,4 million from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) are available in the second selection round of the programme.
Project applications may be submitted by 15 April. Project applicants may be economic operators or foundations engaged in the development and leasing of immovable property for production purposes, small and medium-sized enterprises of the manufacturing and information and communication technologies sector, which construct production facilities for their own needs, as well as port administrations. In the planning region of Riga, the manufacturing industry must be high value added in the sector.
With THE support OF THE ERDF, it is planned to promote the expansion of the activities of the manufacturing and smart specialisation sectors and the development of new enterprises, contributing to the creation of industrial premises in the regions.
It is intended that the financing shall be granted for the construction, reconstruction or renewal of production buildings throughout the territory of Latvia, except Riga. THE ERDF funding available for one programming region is eur 5 088 784; for one project, the maximum amount OF ERDF funding is eur 1 500 000, in the Riga Planning Region – 5 088 784 euros.
Detailed conditions for selection of project applications shall be available in Cabinet Regulations 25.9.2018 No 612.
ERDF support for the development of production facilities is provided for in the Specific Support Objective 3.1.1 of the operational programme “Growth and Employment” “to promote THE creation and development OF SMEs, in particular in the manufacturing industry and IN THE RIS3 priority sectors”, under Measure 3.1.1.5. “Support for investment in the creation or reconstruction of production facilities and infrastructure” in the context of the second project selection sequence.
