Working time of the Nature Education Centre “Razna” in the summer season

The Nature Protection Board informs that the Nature Education Centre in the summer season will also be open on the first Saturday of the month and on the last Sunday. It will also be open on July 13 - the day of running Razna - Muokukun 2014.
The Nature Education Centre “Razna” (hereinafter “DIC”) is located on the street street 3, Lipuškos, Mākoņkalna parish, Rezekne municipality. Working time of the Nature Education Centre “Razna” – working days from 8.30 to 16.30. The offer of the Centre for Nature Education - the exhibitions “acquainted and feel Razna National Park!” and the attendance of the trail, as well as the activities of nature education are free. For arrival, please contact phone 29139677 (LMT).
THE DIC is an exhibition – an interactive exhibition “acquainted and feel Razna National Park!” which can be visited by both independent and centre staff. A good assistant and a companion at the exhibition is an attractive lizard Hugo. A variety of tasks are expected at the activity tables - to determine the tree after its silhouette, to find the traces of animal activity displayed in the drawing, to choose the most suitable place of residence for slopes and graves, or to draw the distinctive features of the bright and rusty ants.
The Centre for Nature Education is in one building with local government, post and pre-school educational institution. At DIC, it is a car park, a bicycle stand, a ramp is built so that people can easily enter wheelchairs.

The Nature Education Centre “Razna established a project“ Promoting natural education of the Estonian-Latvian-Russian cross-border cooperation programme – an effective means of building society's natural consciousness ”or“ people and nature ”.
The project “people and nature” is implemented in the territories of Latvia, Estonia and the Russian Federation, and its main objective is to raise public environmental awareness for sustainable and integrated nature conservation in the area of operation of the project, as well as improvement of the capacity of the natural protection institutions involved in the project in the field of natural education. The duration of the project is 30 months until 30 September 2014. The project is co-financed by the Estonia-Latvia-Russia cross-border cooperation programme under the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument 2007-2013. The total project funding is EUR 1 499 977, of which 90% – 1 349 979 EURO is co-financing of Estonia-Latvia-Russia cross-border cooperation programme.
