There is a quiet time when the thoughts of life, the world, God, the people, the earth, and the people. They are summed up in words, notes, thoughts on the paper that remain immortal. “Poetry has a life of life.” In the end, the poems are not the words of the vis, but the bellows of the fire, the rescue rope for the missing, the bread in the pockets. This is Mary Oliver's. One will agree, others will protest because each of their attitudes to life and poetry. Those who, on 17 March, IN Maltā poetry and music afternoon “in this land and the people i was happy to be” met with poetry authors: Janina Dukuli, Galina Sviridenkov, Ellen Stashuls, Emily Astichz, Elmen pinka, Ilya Orlov, and music authors Rasma Kulamov received a huge charge of love and goodness.
The song “Малта реченька” with R. Kulamova music was izskanēja in Maltas. The author presented his own singing songs, singing and musical at the piano. In the gift we received a book of notes from the Latvian People's Song, “every morning.” Galina Sviridenkova gave her poetry book “Небесные зеркала”, Janina Dukule – poetry almanac 2017. The lines of poetry that the authors read about a wide variety of topics - our land, Latgale, the centuries of Latvia, Latgale congresses, God, children, parents, people who live and live in our memories, nature, horses, history pages, and love, which is the basis of the world, all wore a smile, also tears and reflections. “There was a mutual love in the air.” We, the authors, gave love and got love, 'said Janina Dukule. The poetry was in Latvian, Latvian and Russian. As Ellen Stashuls said, “It doesn't matter where you were born, what nationalities, what faith.” “If you truly love Latgale, Latgale loves you.” True words, because they call our motto: “i am happy to be happy in this country and the people.”
Thank you very much for the authors, thank you for the vocabulary, “Varaluca” and “Kalinuska” for sincere songs. Thank the music school students Anne Itkačei and Alexander Shibanov for their performances, Maltas high school director Vinerai Dantrei and collectors for the opportunity to organize events, tuning and hospitality in the beautiful hall. A sunny and busy spring!
