National Registry Office statistics for 2012
The Registrar of the municipality of Rēzekne compiled information on the work performed in 2012: the chapter drawn up 173 birth registers (2011 – 164), 60 marital registers (2011 – 59) and 424 dying registers (2011 – 403). The highest number of registered dead people has been in the months of May (48), February (47) and December (45), while the lowest in June (22). Mortality registers are made up of 213 men and 211 women.
Among the 172 newborn babies, 85 are boys and 88 girls. 93 children born in marriage, 65 years of paternity, 15 were registered without news of their father. More neonates registered in July (20), June (18) months, least in September (8). In the month of May two twins born in Rēzekne municipality were born in Silmalas parish Irina and Georgie, as well as the parish of Luznava – Vita and Vitalijs. 70% of the families expected birth, 67 – second, 19 – third, 8 – fourth, 4 – fifth, 3 family sixth and 2 families met the Seventh Child.

Of the 60 marriages registered in the chapter, 43 marriages are registered in the General Registry office of Rezekne, 17 in the Church of Rezekne municipality: Dricans, Berzgale, Nautriene, Bikava, Ciskados, Ozolmaniža, Rozentova, foam, Feimas, Dukstigal.
52 brides were married for the first time, 6-second and 2-third marriage, while 53 brides entered the first and 7 second marriages. From 60 couples, 45 couples have had their first marriage.
In the archives of 28 archives, on the basis of judgments and notaries of notaries, the divorce marks were issued, divorced in 1994, 1995, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010.
In 2012, 79 additions and corrections were made to the archives register of civil status documents, 100 re-registration certificates were issued.
