The “restoration” of “European Cultural Heritage Day 2019” will be held for the first year of the first year in the Roman Catholic Church of Rome.
The building of the churchyard is one of the greatest wooden gods of Latvia, built and preserved from the age of baroque. The church is a wooden building built in 1743 and its origins are linked to the Sadursk family. The church was built after the construction of that time, the structure of the sleeping building, only with the axe. Three altars are located in the church. Central, the rich altar of the 18 th century, accompanied by the 19 th century painting, is an architectural monument of national significance dedicated to the holy three-unit. On the right side is the Holy Francis Jironimo altar, and on the left-hand side of the Holy Lady's altar with the Lady Lady's statue. Both side altar tapped in the middle of the 18 th century. The same ancient church is feretrance, monstrance, the Holy Trinity painting and the organs of the Latvian eagle master J. Gremze. On the right side of the church garden, an architectural monument of local significance is located, approximately 10 metres high in the 19 th century, a bell tower that contains two - 1743 and 1881 s.
The church building has never been surveyed to identify, professionally and in detail, both its architectural and artistic values and identify and understand the various aspects of the threat, so a project was developed. Thanks to the support of the National Cultural Capital Fund and Donors, there was an opportunity to invite architect Peter Bloom to carry out research. By surveying the building, a painting on the wall behind the main altar of the church was discovered. Since the painting can only be seen from the staircase and at a very narrow angle from the side, it is apparent that the altar parts in the window height are represented by three figures, while the lower part of the city is silhouette. In autumn 2019, a photofixation with specially prepared technique will be carried out, which will allow better visibility of this church's prevalence.
On 14 September at At 12.00, the “restoration” event of “European Cultural Heritage Day 2019” will begin. During this time, it will be possible to listen to the concert organ, as well as to provide a cultural historical message, an exhibition of the photographs and descriptions of the architect Peter Bloom.
