Feimaņu young people go to lead entrepreneurs after new ideas

For young people

Feimaņu parish 26 young people had a great chance to meet the most active entrepreneurs of Rezekne in camp “know.” Understand. Dare! 'This opportunity was given to us by the youth association “Buchas”, which received support for the competition of the municipality of Rezekne in the competition for funding for youth camps and non-formal training projects. The co-financing was THE transport of Feimaņu parish administration and the voluntary work of the society youth.
The camp took place between 16 and 19 June. The first day began with “interrogation” of employees of the municipality of Rezekne. Laura Ieshe was the one who introduced us to professions that can be found in the premises of the municipality: education, social, legal, cultural, development and planning. The specific nature of his work was discovered by the Vice-President of the municipality of Rezekne, Ms Elhusband Pizanes. We went on to the only horse producers officially registered in Latvia, “Apkalnhouse” owners Irene and Peter. Young people refreshed their knowledge of horses, the girls had the chance to create brochures from pieces of skin, boys - key cards.
Certainly a nice adventure was a meeting with THE owner of Kaunatas parish z/s “Tiptops” Jānis Kuzminski, who has been dealing with a very non-traditional industry for five years – the manufacture of electric guitars. The brave girls and boys tried a guitar game, the sounds of the “heart went”.
As a final day, the first day had arrived at the large flame hill (the third highest peak in Latvia – 289.3 metres above sea level). The climb was solid because the relative height of the mountain is 86 metres. The huge wooden tower built at the end of the hill (34 m high) with 9 view platforms at varying height was easily tolerated. At the top of the top view, a truly impressive landscape was open, where our nightmare was visible - the sports and recreational base “young Dinamien”, we could sport, swim, run for my heart, enjoy the baked sausages, play the games and listen to the ghost stories.
The unslept night was not an obstacle to actively working on Peter and Maija Gailums's creative workshops in Ilzeskalns the next day. Three hours passed, making the dishes from the clay, the painting from the coloured sand. Looking at THE CENTRE of THE Nautrēnu parish, having enjoyed lunch at Rogovka's bakery, we went further to the metallised Jānis Lubkas. The master designs metal works in ethnographic Latvian style and continues the ancient Latvian mountains art traditions. Amazing how the metal sounds his hands!
The third day's early morning trip brought us to Gaigalawa - a studio of the ancient musical instruments of the Gunar Estonians. We watched the workshop and other music instruments in the workshop. The fun struck a high wave when every young man, Gunar, was broken down by one of the instruments, so there was a trick. The friendly, on-the-spot, orchestra would be musical for a long time, if the master shouldn't hurry to Riga, to his daughter's graduation. However, the camp organisers had thought about everything, also meeting with Gaigalavas JC “enjoy” young people. It was delighted that we were on one wave with them. We were connected by songs, guitar games and sporting activities. As a final, it was THE narrative of the Beauty Administrator Liene Din about Luban's wetlands and recreation in the centre of the centre.
Friday, on the other hand, was surprised by the visit of a local businessman Mars Romaka, owner of SIA “Baltic Flags”, a workshop. It turns out to be the only one in the Baltics to make the flags of such a large scale. You can not only purchase flags, vimpos, magnets, cups, but you can realize any idea when you submit your sketch.
The road followed us through Pušai at the “woodlanders” - Helen and Boļeslava Munda. Here we got so much positive emotion! We looked at the collection of ethnographic objects, knew the secrets of the scalp baskets, tried to hand his hand to the chippings, and buried small pallets. After running into the “health trail”, we enjoyed steaming from the big cast iron pot and slept with the freshly baked rabarber plate.
It was a little sad, because four enthusiastic and overcrowded days had gone through the wings of the wind. Yet another activity is led by the youth day in Ozolaine's creative workshops and the farewell of the idea that young people of the next year's association “kiss” will be able to surprise something new.
