Festival “time machine” at Tiskādu High School

On 27 April, the festival “time machine” was held at the Tiskada High School Project No. 8.3.2.2/16/I/001 “Support for the development of individual competencies”. The aim of the festival was to develop co-operation and creative skills for pupils, to develop themselves in multidisciplinary disciplines, updating the development of talents and capacities and developing them, thus acquiring knowledge in the field of history, music and theatre, as well as developing language skills. Laura Atelson, Carl derums, Carl tol, Elina Zuyne and Iveta grain were organized for festival pupils.
In the morning, all the pupils, together with coach-advisers, gathered at the school's big hall, where the creative, positive and activity-rich atmosphere took place, warm-up, warm-up, “ice-breaking” exercises, with which the pupils were divided into groups. Students of Class 1-2 worked with Carl Tel, who led them to the masterclass “stage movement: self-expression from the primordial fire dance rituals to hyphop.” Karlis derums for class 3-4 students led the masterclass “stage speech: from ancient Greek oratories to today.” Class 5-7 students participated in the masterpiece “activism: to be Queen of England or to a space researcher”, led by Elina Zuikne. In Classes 8-9, Laura Atelson demonstrated the masterclass “improvisation: the ability to adapt and create a story from a pile stone to an affair.” According to the masters, each class of classes presented their work and showed what they had learned. At the end of the festival, all participants merged into one common improvisation, enjoying salute and sweets.
After the student reviews of the festival, it can be concluded that they had fun and interesting, liked different games, worked in the team and prepared presentations, insisted, and watched other team settings, playing musical instruments, drawing. It was interesting to work with actors. Many pupils offered to organise similar events at school.
Thanks to the Rēzekne city theatre “Joriks” actors who organized the festival “time machine”, facilitated interdisciplinary learning and shared with them in their professional masterpiece.
