Honestly talented Rēzekne pupils
In mid-May, as the end of the school year approached, for several years, the municipality of Rezekne has gathered together pupils who have achieved excellent results in national Olympics, sports competitions and other high-level competitions. In the event, the gratitude for the work invested and the money prize was received not only by the pupils, but also by teachers who spent their time outside the school hours and invested a lot of individual work to prepare pupils for successful start-ups in Olympics and competitions. I also thank the parents of “olimpies”, whose support for the grinding of children's talents has been invaluable.
This year, the Commission received a record deal from educational institutions for the evaluation of the talent of the municipality of Rezekne and the support of young people – 33 for the awarding of young people on individual achievements and 12 groups of pupils on collective achievements. In assessing the importance of achievements, the Commission decided to award 21 young people as well as six collectors. In gratitude for the work, knowledge and achievements, both pupils and their teachers received books and money awards, while collectively received books and a joint prize, a paid trip to Liv aquparka. In total, the talented pupils and their teachers were allocated around EUR 5 000 this year.
Students, their parents and teachers were welcomed by the management of the Rēzekne municipality. “This talent of talented pupils is well known for other spring festivals, the mother's day and the day of the family, where there is even more gifts for parents like chuckle, smart, conscientious and talented children,” emphasized the Chairman OF the council Monvīds Švarcs. The head of the educational administration, Guntars ants, also joined the congratulations: “I am sure that the recognition received today is just one step in your paved way to new achievements and success.”
